HALTER BREAKING FOALS
Our foals are now weaned and we are working on halter breaking them. This year we have 19 foals.
COLT STARTING AT THE REESOR'S
Sid spent 3 days starting colts with Craig and Camille Reesor at 2C Quarter Horses in February of 2018. They live near Irvine, AB and raise beautiful quarter horses and grass fed beef. One of their stallions came from our horse breeding.
COLT STARTING AT HOME
We will be starting all of our two year olds near the end of March. This is last years wild bunch!
CALVING
The cows headed home to calve. We will start calving in mid April. Hopefully the snow will be gone!
RIDING OUR HORSES FOR THE 2018 PRODUCTION SALE
By the time our horses are ready for the 2018 sale they will be changing leads, rating the cow and tracking cattle. They will be roped off of and able to hold an animal.
BRANDING 2018
Thank you to everyone who came out to our branding this year, we are so grateful for all of our friends and family. Our three year old colts were used for all of the roping. This was their first time roping and they all did very well! This was a great new experience for our 15 three year olds.
